Nelson, the band and the duo of Matthew and Gunnar are something I treasure.  When I was 15 the music was an escape from my large imposing family and it just felt good to let go of myself and get lost in the music.  As I grew into and adult I lost touch with what was happening in Nelson land, but when I went back to find them I felt a flood of relief to know that they were still there. 

The first concert I went to Matthew was out front talking to people before the show and I was beyond star struck.  I had to just stare for quite awhile before getting the courage to introduce myself.  I couldn't believe how friendly they both were and what high energy the show had!   It was such a fun show that the three friends I brought with me who weren?t familiar with the guys became instant fans.  We had an unbelievable summer road tripping all over making it to 5 shows in just 4 months. 

I am really looking forward to the next live show near me in mid February and only 2 months after that they?ll be practically in my own backyard and I?ve got all my friends and family excited to go see the show!
