August 6, 2005 was a day I will never forget!  I was lucky enough to be a personal assistant to Matthew.  I arrived at the Mohegan Sun at 3:30 just in time to get ready for the sound check.  I met with Sue, Gunnar's p.a. and Tami.  Tami took us up to the stage and introduced us to the guys. After that we helped set up the merchandise table and then went backstage to hang out with the guys.  There was another concert going on in the other venue and the guys were asked to perform a couple of songs, so Sue and I escorted Matthew and Gunnar to that venue and watched them do three songs!  Next it was time to go back for their concert!  We hurried and got the set list, towels, and bottles of water in place.  As soon as we got those things done it was time to take our seats in the front row!  The concert was absolutely amazing!!  After the show we helped out with the merchandise table and chatted with other Nelson fans.  When all was said and done we went backstage and hung out with Matthew and Gunnar, I got some wonderful pictures and had an amazing time.  My only regret was being so nervous that I didn't talk to them as much as I could have.  I have to say that this was an experience that I will never forget, it was a dream come true!
