August 6, 05 was a very special evening for me at Mohegan Sun. I Want to give a special thanks to Matthew, Gunnar and Tami for letting me become their Personal Assistant. It was a dream come true to know what it was like to prepare for a show and to be part part of a special team. I also would like to give a special thanks to a good friend Jackie who helped guide me through this wonderful evening. My evening started when Tami brought my co-assistant, Christine, and I to soundcheck to greet Matthew and Gunnar. After we said Hello to Matthew and Gunnar, Tami took us down Backstage and showed us where everything was and filled us in what the plans were for that evening. Christine, Jackie and I went back upstairs to soundcheck and we all sat down at a table and we got to know each other. Once soundcheck was over Christine and I helped Tami and Jackie set up the Merchandise Table. Around 7:00 pm, we helped escort Matthew and Gunnar to the Mohegan Sun Arena where Bowzer from the band Shanana had announced Matthew and Gunnar to come out on-stage and play 3 Acoustic songs. Everyone in the Arena had Cheered Proudly. The Acoustic show was a great success. After, we all headed back to the Wolf's Den Backstage where Christine and I helped Matthew decide what to wear on stage and also helped Matthew with the song list. Once we got done preparing the song list, Christine and I both took the song lists out on stage and placed them of where they needed to go. We also made sure the guys had their towels and water before they began their show at 8:00 pm. Christine and I went back to our table in front of the stage and waited for Matthew and Gunnar to start their show. After the show was done, Christine, Jackie and I helped escort Matthew and Gunnar to the Merchandise Table for Their Public Meet and Greet. Once the Public meet and greet was over, Jackie, Christine and I packed things up to bring down Backstage. We escorted Matthew and Gunnar backstage to do one more Private Meet and Greet for some of the NST members. Matthew and Gunnar signed some stuff and took pictures. When the Private NST Meet and Greet was over, Tami, Jackie, Christine and I went back to Matthew and Gunnar's Dressing Room to hang out for awhile and we all enjoyed everyone's company. Once again, Matthew and Gunnar took more time to sign more stuff and took more pictures before our night was over. I had the most wonderful time that I could ever wish for.Matthew, Gunnar and Tami made my Dream come true. For me, it was well worth it.
