On Jan. 28th, 2006 I had a great experience of a lifetime. I had a great honor to be Matthew Nelson Personal Assistant for the night. Also to share this experience with Michelle Austin from NY, as she was Gunnar’s Personal Assistant for that evening.
We started the night off with the street team and Matthew and Gunnar. Peter, Jane Lang also Laramie the golden retriever accepting the check for the Seeing eye dog charity drive. After that, we headed off down stairs for the private NELSON  VIP concert. 
When it was time for the show, we waited in the hotel lobby for Matthew & Gunnar to come down. We walked them to the arena so they could meet Rascal Flatts (country western) band members.  When we got back, Michelle and I made sure everyone on the stage had water, towels and set list.  Then we took our seats in the front of the stage.
After the show we all went to the meet-n-greet line together. It was long and we did our best to push it along. Of course Matthew & Gunnar stayed to make sure they met everyone. When we got done, we helped pack up.
We hung around downstairs for a bit and talked. Then Matthew & Gunnar said thank you. And our job was done.
Michelle & I went for a bite to eat after the show. I will like to say thank you to Tami, Matthew, and Gunnar for a night that I will never forget.
