On August 29, 2004 I had the awesome opportunity to be a Personal Assistant to Matthew Nelson. It was a great experience that I will never forget. I was not only given the chance support Matthew on a personal level, but I was also given insight to what it takes to prepare for a show. I was able to witness the preparations Matthew and Gunnar made as they geared up for the evenings performance. I can tell you that helping to make things "show ready" was very exciting and tiring, but the feeling you get as the high energy show unfolds is unbelievable.  I would definitely jump at the chance to be a Personal Assistant at another show and I would encourage anyone who is offered the opportunity to snatch it up.
